India–GCC is one of the world’s great trade lanes, and it is the corridor World Zone was practically built for: our own offices in Cochin and Bangalore work with our Dubai head office daily, moving everything from Kerala’s food and spice exports to South India’s engineering and e-commerce cargo. One company quotes, books, clears and delivers at both ends — the difference shows most when something needs fixing at 9pm.
Westbound, we consolidate at India’s main gateways for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. Eastbound, GCC exporters and re-exporters use us for machinery, polymers, foodstuffs and personal effects into every major Indian port and airport.
Indian gateways we cover
- Nhava Sheva (JNPT) — India’s largest container port, for North and West India cargo.
- Mundra — the fast-growing Gujarat gateway on the same lanes.
- Cochin — our home port in Kerala, minutes from our own office.
- Chennai & Tuticorin — South and East India ocean coverage.
- BLR, COK, BOM, MAA — air freight uplift across South India.
What we handle on the India lane
- Ocean Freight — India–GCC FCL & LCL both directions
- Air Freight — same-week uplift from South India
- Customs — Indian CHA coordination + GCC clearance
- LCL Consolidation — weekly India–Jebel Ali boxes
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Indian cities does World Zone have offices in?
Cochin and Bangalore are our own offices; through them we cover Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Chennai, Tuticorin and the major airports for cargo from anywhere in India.
How long does ocean freight from India to Dubai take?
Typically 3–7 days port to port depending on origin — Mundra and Nhava Sheva are fastest to Jebel Ali; Cochin and Chennai slightly longer. LCL adds consolidation time at each end.
Can you handle both Indian and GCC customs?
Yes — Indian export formalities are managed with our licensed CHA partners under our Cochin office’s control, and the GCC import side is cleared by World Zone’s own teams.
Do you move personal effects and household goods on this lane?
Yes — India–GCC personal effects, household shipments and returning-resident cargo are a regular part of our weekly consolidations in both directions.
